Anthony J. Sassan

Anthony Sassan is an experienced litigator who has represented individuals and closely-held businesses in a wide range of civil and criminal matters in federal and state courts. Past civil litigation matters include fraud, breach of contract, defamation, Civil Rights claims, tortious interference with business expectation, lien disputes, and copyright infringement. A former prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, Anthony has also handled State and Federal Criminal matters involving allegations of fraud, RICO, conspiracy, Shaken Baby Syndrome/Abusive Head Trauma, murder, bank robbery, drug possession, manufacturing and distribution, weapons offenses, and other violent offenses.

With over thirty years' experience as an attorney, Anthony has tried more than 80 cases to verdict in both federal and state courts. His notable results have been reported on by news outlets such as ABC 7, Fox Chicago, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and the Daily Herald.

Unlike at larger firms, where individual clients have little contact with the attorney(s) handling their case, Mr. Sassan attempts to involve his clients in the preparation and strategy of their case, communicating directly to ensure that they understand the litigation process.
